The long awaited Royal Commission report is finally out and The Leaders Summit goes into detail about what this means from a business perspective. We are very excited about the new recommendation to change to the funding incentives for providers who invest in restorative care and reablement.

These providers would be rewarded financially by retaining the previous level of funding if a resident becomes healthier or less dependent. This way the aged care system should support people to maintain independence instead of supporting frailty.
